It is a novel about a game that is used to make predictions that are based on the Mayan calendar, so in order to find out about a missing link on how to play that game to accurately predict future events, they send the copy of a mind into someone in the Maya period. Sounds far out there, but such a cool read... apparently a sequel is in the works!
