Nice intro!, Very smooth it reminds me a little of a pink floyd track, shine on your crazy diamond, especially the pad.
Perhaps the intro is abit too long tho, at 1.30 id would like something more to progress. The perc´s which comes in at 2.10 could perhaps come in before?.
But since its not a ordinary psy track it works.

The base could be abit more distinct i feel.
Its a very unique kind of sound you have going on, very chilled out.
Some sounds/samples are abit harsch, for example the sample at 2.50.
It would be cool if you progress the base into a normal kb or a kbb later in the track, to get the drive going more.
Im not sure about panning the baseline like that, its cool but it makes it lack that solid core which is pounding you in the back(or front ).

All around, cool track!.
You could mix it a little bit better.
I enjoyed it very much.           .

like it quite a bit. good flow, nice elements, also like the kick/base you have, no need for another imho. intro is longer than usual but it builds up nicely so its fine i think and it makes you looking forward to the beat.

agree with grevinsky some sounds are too harsh/loud (crash for example).

keep grooving and finalize it, will be a great track me thinks

Nice intro man! I think it could do with some more sounds but I like the fact that you've only got things that fit in well - keep adding more like that if you do.
Maybe experiment with bit# and sample rate of a few sounds to change their 'character' in the mix, some automation. A few more high freqs as well perhaps. But overall it is coming together!

It has a great chilled vibe though mate - liking it. Good work!! Hope your exams went well too!!           http://www.soundcloud.com/architektnz

Yea,you right about the mix,its always the weakest point for me till now,I always want to make more emotions and context into the track, that I have little power to tend to the "sound good" part of the track.(not even speaking about lack of good or basic equipment to do good mix)

I'l mix it better when it is done

And yea, that is a bit chilled,I guess in the end less is more for real.I tried to put different stuff in the track, and that sound less good.Well maybe thats just me,I love my shit to be dreamy and cinematic...

Mechanical engineering, fixing shit you didn't knew that are broken, in a way that I myself still don't understand .

Boring stuff in a nutshell .But at least not as nuts as Electrical engineering.           From all the things I lost, that sandwitch cost me most :)
