Maybe we should have the same system for artists..
Isratrance Wanna Be Artist Member = 1 release on some compilation
Isratrance Junior Artist member = No debut album out yet, but atleast 5 tracks on compilations
Isratrance Artist Member = Debut album released already
Isratrance Professional Artist Member = Atleast 2 albums out already..

Wheather you are professional or an amateur have nothing to do with being an artist or not.
You are confusing terms.
And no matter how much you try to sell, if you don't sell enough to make a living out of it you are an amateur.
A "true" artists I would guess is the one you defeine personally as being "truly" creative.
Maybe you think Britney is a really "true" artists because she earns much money on what she does.
It's easier to earn money if you compromise with your creativity in the interest to become or stay professional.
And many of who I define as "true artists" don't earn much at all from their artistry.
But it don't matter how much they earn...a "true artist" is IMO the ones who put creativity before everything.

I think the most true artists don't even want to sell their art. Search a bit in the internet for grafic art for example, u will find endless pictures drawed, rendered, photographed at the sites of the artists. And lot of websites are art itself.
