I tried connecting my CS1x to IT without any success. And if you have synth, wtf are you doing with IT? Move to Cakewalk or Cubase or something... |

listen, impulse tracker was so strong because u could use your pc keyboard to play on it.and it has no midi in support only midi out.
if u have this perversion/nostalgy and want to use DOS/win32 tracker - try this site: http://www.sonicspot.com/trackers.html
choose what u want with the feature of midi in support.

Yo, first of all just to be clear, i am not a impulse user, but i was something like more then a year and a half ago... now back to your question: you CAN use midi through IT. all you need to do is to connect your midi keyboad. the midi in IT is very unuseful, the only thing you can do with midi there is write notes in the pattern editor, and you can record live, if you wanna do that you will need to press 'Scroll lock' and play the song, and while it playes you can write notes in real time.. thats all,, altough i really dont recommand impulse to work with this is how you do it... well hope i helped you.. m0x. |

You shouldn't love the old stuff, you should the sounds it makes and in that case it won't be so fun, will it Michael :)? |
