hi my question is :
what is the best way to import samples into cubase ..would importing the sample in 24bit be better then 32 bit or 16 bit and what would be the difference during recording the audio mixdown?

- you can use what ever bit depth you like (at least 16bits..), but be sure to mixdown to a higher resolution (24bits should suffice).
- if you convert back after polishing your mixdown, be sure to use dithering to reduce quantization errors during the conversion process

Import 24bit, the difference will be clearness and headroom, i guess. It should be felt when you mix large channel numbers.
