Hi
Can anyone explain me how to load presets into the nord lead?
I got midi files with presets, I know there is a way to send them via midi to the nord using Logic, i just dunno exatly how...anyone knows?
And do I need a memory card or can I load them into the sinth memory?

u need to dump them ... use logic audio for ex ...
put the midi files into the mdi track on logic audio ..
attention u need to have both clables midi conected in and out ..
then read your manual from the nord lead .. to know wich is the key u need to make load in the nord rack .. then u only need to put play in logic audio and it will copyu does presets .. attention .. because u need space to put does presets ... u need maybe a pcmcia socket memory for the nordlead ..
or u can only save 40 presets .. in this case the first 40 presets will be deleted 
ask to audialize maybe he can help u

if your stuck for cash for the mean time or wanna save the patches you got and wanna use your new midi uploads while waiting for the card - go to this link..

once you have uploaded you midi dumps to the nord from logic or cubase you set this generator to recieve and dump your patches individually if you want and then you can save them in a folder for future use .. |

You can also use midi programs like Sounddiver or Midiquest to store patch libraries on ur harddrive - and load them whenever u want.
