is ther a way to import a midi file into FL studio or Cubase with instruments assignd ?
i mean when i load it into fl studio producer i get all the notes in a timeline but it playes nuthin and i need to attach an instrument...
is ther a quick way to do it ? like loading the samples directly from the soundcard ?
like the winamp does or what ever ?

cubase does this automatically : if you choose 'no' when asked to create a new project.... then the MIDI output of the imported file is selected to be the MIDI output of the last MIDI track you created. Winamp is using the Microsoft MIDI mapper IIRC.

But if you create a MIDI track and select a VST as its output, THEN import, the VST will become the output of the newly imported file.

Not sure why you really want this... if someone has given you a whole trance tune as just a MIDI file it is gonna sound very very bad indeed through a GM synth
