what's the problem? he's moving house, he's got so much music he doesn't know what to do with it all, and i would say he's done more than £5 worth of promotion for each of those cd's. it's not like he's getting sent them, not reviewing them and then selling them.

For one thing, the majority of second hand record shops around the UK and very probably the world are full of promo's. There is absolutely nothing new in trying to get a few quid from promotional material. A search on ebay for "promo CD" turfs up 5600 CDs. This is nothing new nor controversial.
For another thing, by selling this handful of CDs to people on forums, I know they're going to a good home.
For a final thing, I would of course love to keep everything that comes to me but given issues of space and imminent financial hellishness i'm reluctantly letting a few go. Reluctantly being the operative word.
If anyone has a problem with this might I politely suggest they form an orderly queue behind Le Lotus Bleu behind the sign that reads "Queue Here To Suck My Fucking Balls, You Cowardly Utter Shit-Stirrer"

Not that this is any of my business but it is a little dodgy to sell albums you've received from labels for reviews.. giving them away I'd understand, but profiting.. dodgy dodgy

i must add I know damion for some years now and he has been doing a great job on psyreviews (on and off as he could afford)
his reviews were always top notch and very objective and "to the point"
if he feels he wants to sell those cds or promos or whatever thats his own thing! you have the right not to send him anymore cds if you feel annoyed by it me personaly and i believe 95% of the rest think the same i couldnt care less!

i don't do reviews anymore , if you're a label & was in contact with me, you can immediatly stop sending me stuffs anymore (you can send to Damion & DP for example if you aren't already in ctc with them if you like);
thanks to all the labels that used to send me cds.
