IMPLOSION “8th Act” 15th October 2005
“When you are on the dance floor and the music surrounds you, the beat hits you in your stomach and collapses inside you, that is Implosion”.
You are on the dance floor, you close your eyes, the music is making your whole body vibrate with a delicious energy, you feel the beats inside you… the energy of the rhythm lightens your spirit and a smile hatches in the pit of your stomach, warming you, it moves its way up and erupts to light up your face… and your body begins to sway… that is Implosion…
This mystical emotional deviation is achieved through a display of sight and sound meticulously chosen and tweaked to get just that reaction. Carefully selected DJ’s will strum the airwaves till you are sizzling and ready to erupt, the Pickle décor adding just the right mmmmmm factor to the experience. The buzz is tangible, the vibe is pleasurable, and the people very enjoyable. Come experience it on October 15th @ George IV, 144 Brixton Hill, SW2 - 10pm to 6am.
For the lovers of psy the upcoming party is a real tease… Dick Trevor aka Dickster aka Jumanji (in collaboration with Eskimo) has been a pioneer in the psy trance world with numerous releases on all the big labels (he is currently working on a new album as Jumanji on Nano records) and will be honoring our decks with his masterful presence. Marchello will further tantalize your earbuds while Jay OM, Kalimamboh, Mish-Mash, Druid, Project FM and Bedouin (Exclusive London Debut) will add further grit and depth to your implosion. If that is not enough, Extra Special Guest Marcello V.O.R (aka 2HI with Vibra) will be adding his Brazilian sound sensations too. They will take you on a journey through the levels of psy from deep down and grungy to progressively upbeat and back again till you can’t help but erupt in rapt smiles.
Upstairs in the Implobeats room we have the acid, monging, deep, dirty sounds of Hefty, we get funky with M.A.N. and the master of the mix Toxigen will ease you into the elektrobeats offered by Audioresponse. This session guarantees satisfaction.
