Merry Merry quite contrary how does your party grow? With gorgeous souls, implosive sounds and faces all aglow.
The 11th Implosion, first party of the New Year, is on its way and how this party has grown. From a small, unobtrusive little party, this past year has seen Implosion creep its way into the Psychedelic scene and get a reputation for a great little party with a big heart and a great vibe to match. They have astounded with a diverse range of musical talents old and new. With the musical support of Free-Spirit, the party has offered up tasty morsels of sound for the discerning psychedelic music fan and those of us not in the ‘know’ but liking it all the same. To accompany the monthly musical feast is a visual spectacular brought to you by Pickle.
Your 2006 gift from Implosion is a line up that will no doubt have you bouncing. We proudly present:
Liquid Ross (Liquid Recs.) founder member of Liquid Connective, playing mainly full-on psytrance, with a deep and funky touch. With the grooviest sounds around he most definitely knows how to keep the dance floor alive!; Kristian (Transient Recs, Phantasm Recs) from Gibraltar is well known on the UK Psy scene, having played all over the world including this years Glade Festival where he played alongside some big names on the scene; Jay OM (Free-Spirit Recs.) who needs no introduction, with his unique energetic progressive psy beats gets the dance floor thumping no matter what time of the morning he plays; Moonquake, a new fresh talent from Hadra Recs. with a fresh, clear, clever and full on power!; Project FM (Point Zero Recs) play Progressive, no breaks tunes, which have the floor in an uproar every time; Alchemist (Implosion resident): a Progressive, mainly Scandinavian, sound which will no doubt be a welcome change to our London eardrums and last but by no means least, Mad Theo (Psy IV) known in hard trance circles in London since 2000, recently started playing psytrance. His fresh, uplifting style will set the dance floor alight.
You are on the dance floor, you close your eyes, the music is making your whole body vibrate with a delicious energy, you feel the beats inside you the energy of the rhythm lightens your spirit and a smile hatches in the pit of your stomach, warming you, it moves its way up and erupts to light up your face… and your body begins to sway… that is Implosion…
