First of all. this in not about commercialism at all. and also not about the quality of Trance (no bad and good music)

Imagine what If Trance was everywhere on daily bases like pop or rock. I mean: U turn on the tv and there is clip Of Protoculture. U turn up the radio and u hear Son kite.

if tracks where playd every day/many times in a day; imo we would get seek and tired of trance. I like the situation as it now. few radio shows late at night and sometimes clip on tv
maybe it cause I don’t listen radio at all, only when I drive..

Bottom line: imo any kind of music that is being played over and over at radio and TV - will loose its spirit...or in any other word that u would like to call it.

What do u think?

for me trance is a large part of my life, when i put my hifi, that's trance who is running, when i put my computer on trance is in it, or in psyradios!
even my tv must be infected by trance now with the french show: psytranceTV!
I understand what you mean but everuwhere must be relativised, pop is not everywhere at all!
and for me life is a big party in a dyonisiac way!
so i can imagine it perfectually, what a wonderfull dream!
thanks nathan to inspire me this one!

If trance would be on 24/7 on tv and radio it would become boring beyond belief. The reason this music is appealing to me is that only a small amount to people listen to it, and it isn't widespread. The same goes for the metal I like to listen. (Death, black, doom) that's also music not everyone listens to. I have a lot of cd's (psytrance and metal) and I listen to something else almost every day. So I never get bored.

Your dream radi6404, well... I imagine it as a nightmare... Take in mind: you turn on the tv and you see the new Hypersonic clip. Yoni is half naked and has a look on his face as if he's orgasming while he stands behind a synthesizer and pretends to play the main tune in the song. (ofcourse, he doesn't play it at all, the sequencer is running, but it's supposed to look cool, right?) You think: this is garbage. You switch to the other music channel and see Son Kite perform one of their great liveshows. Alas, it's been on 4 times that week already, so you think: nehhh not that one. And you switch on. The new Protoculture is on... But, you don't want to hear that one either because they've been caning it so much on the radio you're starting to know the song inside and out, and frankly, you're getting a bit tired of it. On to the next. A program. Raja Ram is being interviewed. You think: damn, how can they be re-running this one? I've seen that one five times this week already. Then, another program. A party review. Great, you think. It hasn't been on yet. The camera swoops on to the dancefloor, and you notice how stoned a lot of people look. This isn't funny... would you really look like that while partying? Then, the camera goes backstage to the toilets and you see some asshole puking his guts out. Ofcourse, the camera doesn't move away discretely, instead, they zoom in. You can clearly see what the guy had for dinner. Yummy!!

And so on, and so on... get the idea? I think if your 'dream' became reality, you would tire of this music (and this scene) very quickly.           "Subconscious unravels at the point of death, and all time it has known erupts into a moment. As death extinguishes us, so we become it."

perhaps this scene can be not boring, with a lot of different style and different artists as it is already today!
I think in "our" music, we listen very different kind of artist, perhaps more than someone who listen pop music, i'm not sure of it, but it would be interesting to make a study on it!
trance is an idea where a lot of different ideas are comming onto it, or into it! that's its richness!
perhaps it's have the ability to not be boring!

I say a lot of perhaps, cause i'm still in the dream, and i really don't know if my opinion is true or not!
