DIRECTIONS:
Wilket Creek Park, part of Serena Gundy/Sunnybrook Park.
~ For TTC (highly recommended):
Take the subway to Eglinton, exit onto the bus platform, and take the 54 Lawrence East bus to Leslie (the bus turns onto Leslie). About a 10-15 minute ride. The bus stop is right across the road from the entrance to the park. Easy
~ Driving:
**I'm very much encouraging NO parking at the venue, as there are park hours and the park is apparantly frequently checked by police or patrol dudes, so there is a definate risk of being ticketed, at best. I'm not aware of any nearby parking (because i dont live in the area and havent scouted it out). Basically, park at your own risk.
-From Downtown:
Get on the Gardiner Expressway going East, exit onto the Don Valley Parkway going North. Take the DVP up to Eglinton, exit going west (left). Take Eglinton two big blocks west to Leslie (you'll see the Inn On the Park on your right just before the intersection). Make a right onto Leslie, going north only as far as the end of the Inn on the Park, and on the left is the entrance to the parking lot for Serena Gundy/Sunnybrook Park.
-From the North:
Take the 401 towards Leslie (which is the 2nd exit east of Yonge St). Exit onto Leslie going south. Once you pass Lawrence, you'll be driving past a park on your right. Just before Eglinton, there's an exit on the right to the parking lot for Serena Gundy /Sunnybrook/Wilket Creek Parks.
There will be a person, or arrows, or whatnot, to help you find the way
