I just bougth the USB Midi controller Oxygen 8. It's not working with my
Cubase SX...
streight to the point. My questions are:
1) Can I work with this equipment:
- iMac - PowerPC 750 (32.1)
350 MHz
Memory: 256 MB
OS X 10.3
and
- USB midi controller Oxigen 8
(No external sound module, no Midi interface)
Would I have problems with latency???
2) If it's possible, how can I set the cubase sx up to work with my
controller? I've already installed the driver - my Imac does recognise the
controller (as a port 1). But the cubase doesn't, when I try to find any
port availible it appers: "not connected".
On the Device Setup (Cubase) there is no Oxigen 8 (device classes); the
options "generic remote" and "CM motor mix" does not recognise my controller
either.
On the MIDI device manager I can't install anything - don't know how to map it...
Any tip would be great.
