OK , first of all i 100% agree with Tomer about
"NO PAIN NO GAIN"
And withT.E.S , about monitoring - it's very important !

Actually there is no "simple explanations" about music making , but if you serious about music -
read EVERYTHING on :
www.studiocovers.com/articles.htm
It's the best collection of articles i found on the net,
and if you will read it all too , you understand how the things rolling.
And everything will be so simple , so the rest is your imagination only.

And again : no pain no gain - good words .

Peace.

try this guy, hes a cool VSTi

http://www.refx.com
THa BAzzline

and also, try tweaking fruity loops 3x osc. you can generate some good bass sounds with it. Other than teach you, listen to your favorite bassline. It is like the Rhythmn of the song. It has to match the rest of the notes played. Take fruity loops and get a good bass sound. Telll it to cut it self, and fill up the steps all the way across. Edit the notes. Tweak if needed. Eq the loop. Whammo. BASSLINE.           -=Keep it Spiritual=-

well, i went to KVR and downloaded some VST presets for the tritium. you should check out, ADSL mike. you might be surprised. you can get a whole lot by tweaking a preset just a bit.

Sure.
It's just that I didn't touch my music comp for a long time... Since my amplifier was stolen...
