Lights are red, it comes with num block but you can remove it (or change its side). It also has macros that now that I think of could be usefull for production (keys that are programable for making a series of actions with just one click).
I have the x4 and its a good keyboard, also not too much noisy.

Well I have had the x4 for over a years and I havent had any problem with it. Maybe you can also look in to it. (but it cant detach the num pad)
