Philipp Dransfeld, aka trancefeld, was born on 7.4.1975 in Bielefeld (Germany). He spent his youth there with skatebording and his guitar till he fell in love with electronic music in 1994 by visiting first time a techno-club. In this context he changed his Guitar-amp against his first Synthesizer and an old Atari computer and startet producing electronic music.
In 1996 he moved to cologne and became an educated audio-engineer. Among his employment as engineer and producer in an advertising agency he started releasing music in 1999. Thus and by his live-sets trancefeld became a well known name for a progressiv sound in the typical trancefeld-style.
