To this "party" I read a ROBBERY fucking ROBBERY Like all the parties of MOKSHA.
I'm will tell from the beginning :
TRANSPORTATION - How it's possible to tell on the phone that price - 60 shekel
and that you will be found there on the same day this becomes 100 shekel?!?! ... fucking ROBBERY
INSTEAD OF THE PARTY - Several policemen brought there really worried that people
they will to open the new year with criminal case in the police.
Thank you very much MOKSHA many people wanted criminal case to the new year.
(And only me did they not open SHIT . I wanted one I don't have 8) ) hamsa hamsa hamsa ! ! !
INSIDE THE PARTY - My expectation to the more decor.
one long on the stage,To this you read a decor !?!? maybe but not for me..
OHHH And also 2 sculptures of Boda. this everything that there was there.
Interesting me who the designer that brought to the place. to the party like this bring is not one at least 2-3 design.
but sure not there was even designs one. this illogical because he has only one Long.
In all party in the world there are 3-4 design. But this costs money and you want everything to yourself.
Then about what to pay you 190 shekel ?! ?! fucking ROBBERY.
*190 shekel x 3000 ppl = 570,000 shekel And this what you bring us one Long on the stage. robber.
Approval of police came but designs to the party not.
THE MUSIC IN THE PARTY - When I arrived at the party I thought to the self
okay until to the show of shpongle surely will play shit music . (I will tell in the end on the concert of Shpongle)
But after Shpongle, started to play music of clubs That sounds like that BoM OMm BoM OMm and BoM OMm ... All night like that.
Very slow music with two and half tones that listeners once in 2 minutes.
Really did me nausea ,this is not Psycdali music and this is not a trance
it was the music of disgusting house of cokesinelle that dance with shake the bottom and their hands up. hehe
Very much people sat on LSD and not could to dance the SHIT HOUSE music.
Aside from 3 sets maybe 5 .(I did not like the new music of X-Dream and The DELTA Really commercialized for me.)
I did not dance because it was not a trance aside from - shpongle ,hallucinogen and kirna ,I'm loved to fly with them there.
*This what happens because there is money and don't understnd in the trance.
THE BIG ROBBERY - the bar whoever that there was in the bar will be robbed also podium that eats.
Prices of robbers omlette in the pita - 20 shekel . Pizza from the supermarket - 25 shekel.(like pizza-makpitza)
Water are warmish - 15 shekel.

I enjoyed with my Friends because also in the non solitary we are enjoy.
And in addition there was there Simon Posford (Shpongle,hallucinogen) that simple left me in shock and in watching to his next concert
That will come every day to Israel I will be in party of his genius of music.
Also the set of will be KIRNA from Finnish used to exceptional very and strong.
I hope not to arrive at your parties more like that i'm normal.Do money on other people.

i can right 3 pages of good thing but i"m to taird for this.
one thing that getting on my nerves was this d.j at noon that play a very bad remix of TRIP TONIGHT, its a legend track & if the remix isnt pure, dont poblish it.
boom on you moksha pro. you did it on the best side that you can do it.

I had a genuinely great time there. Missed Avishay's set that i really wanted to hear because of the entrance queue and Itay (Raijin Gaijin hope i write it correct) that came afterwards started the Karahana really well with precise mixing and sharp tunes. Simon came afterwards and dissolved any doubt clouds behind the "Shpongle DJ Set" that i've had. The crowd was completely riled up in minutes. Especially when Dorset Perception, Around The World In A Tea Daze and DMT were on. People were literally going up the trees near the dancefloor. Simon played some new Younger Brother material as well that was as powerful as the well known Shpongle tracks. I can barely wait for the new album whenever it's being released. After Shpongle came AKD and although pretty much anything after Shpongle will sound redundant and boring AKD were just that and probably even more. Weird line up choice. First of many in that event. AKD sent me on a mission to get some sleep and when it failed i went to scout for some more alcohol and met Katja and her funny Russian gang. Had some nice time with them as well (don't remember much, but i do remember it was funny and had a lot of alcoholic beverages). Around the sunrise somebody came up with too minimal techno sounds that was really too harsh for the morning until he put Nathan Fake's Outhouse which is a classic and it was a really proper morning tune. From there it went really well and an Extrawelt remix was another proper choice as well. I don't remember what else was before the Hallucinogen set but when the man came on with LSD the dancefloor got packed again and once again the maestro sent the people to another dimension. The new tracks were a bit too powerful to my taste but were really good none the less. Any further word would be unnecessary i guess. Magic.
Delta and X-Dream that were put in various time line were a combination of a known and loved track with some weird techno experiments that i personally was a bit too tired to dig. Used the time to chat with many many familiar people around the dancefloor.
The Finnish artist, Kirna i think, was a true oddity. For some reason after each track he played there was a minute of break. I guess he needed the time to open a track in Cubase or Fruity Loops or whatever. The music was, eh, of the Finnish flavour, not my cup of chai. At some point afterwards Yuli, the Perfect non-stranger came up and tested some of his new material on the crowd and the test went really well. The tracks are really good and the older ones were excellent choices as well. Finally a well placed act in the party. Perfect noon music.
After Yuli finished i continued to wander around the area and just drinking whatever alcohol that was left in the party and it was good.
To sum it up: absolutely great party that set really high standards musicwise for other organisers that showed that you can bring a high caliber artist like Simon and X-Dream in one party with cooperation with police in a beautiful place and pull it off successfully.
Kudos to the Moksha people for your remarkable effort! 
Thanks to Matan for everything, was a killer time and for pulling me from my cave and dragging my ass there.
Was nice to meet Shahar, Oran, Borris, Katja and friends,Lyri, Evgeny, Yulik, Shahar, Itay and much more people whom i met there but i'll need some time to recall. Hope next year it will be bigger and longer.

it was expensive party man,the stage the artists,you think X-Dream live and Simon with 2 projects,dont cost money?  for sure the organization make good money but they also make good event,yes the bar was little expensive,yes was some problems with toilets but "X-Dream" 
About the music,hm dont know what you prefer but didnt heard there club,house music.
And what is "music of disgusting house of cokesinelle"
Mayeb you know the name who\when\where played that kind of music? interesting 
and if Frog,Quantum Lab,Distresser,Radio and etc
it's NEW music,maybe you dont know what is X-Dream or maybe you took too much hehe

how many times they told u there is going to be police inside ? maybe 1000. includ on the answer machine of direction.
and maybe moksha like trance music more then drugs , or atleast know the right timing for evrything. if u dont know thats why parties been closed all the time. so if u like the music more, then do your drugs quite and know to hide them ,its not if there is a 4/4 beat it meens its ok to do drugs infront of policeman that secure the event . and thank them for do this and we did not see any violence at all and i didnt hear of any theft or something.
next time get some supergat its leagal

decor was very nice i dont know where have u been... alot of flags along the beach , alot of shades structures, amazing stage , light show , vj screen.. im sure in your parties there isnt anything more then this maybe carton mushrooms which has been done like 2 milion times... lol

maybe u dont know what is leagal party , but its involve tax , and huge production costs just to make it leagal.. much more then small illeagal party where the speakers is most expensive thing.
and beside stay out of other peaple pocket. nobody force u to pay them.. its free country , there was planty of parties and festivals this holiday. why did u pick moksha? i did cause i knew how good its gonna be , and it was.

i would love to see abit diffrent and harder lineup too ,maybe darker night and more goa/suomi in the morning , but from this to all what u say there is like milion kilometer of musical knowledge. there was the most respected artists and dj's.
if u care that much why dont read the lineup before u come ? its artists and dj's playing regularly in israel and their sets was much beter then expected im my opinion actualy..

there was free entrance for food and drinks ,we had alot of what to eat and drink in regular supermarket prices.
anywayz dude , its probably in the eye of the beholder. evryone had such great time and only u complain ..
please more of this for me!
my only critism is that could be cleaner in the dancefloor specialy and toilets. but thats the crowd fault just the same. its not if u pay 190 shekel to get the right to be monkey and feel u own the place..

first of all, i don't know the whole story and i wasn't even there.
if what you're saying about the transportation cost is true than it's really not okay but as to your other comments:
* it was an authorized event so there were bound to be some cops there. i didn't see too many people complaining about that so i guess anyone who knows how to handle his business would not get into any trouble.
* about the music - i just don't understand why people have to say such nasty things about any type of music, or insult people who enjoy listening to something that's not quite their cup of tea. anyways, the line up was well known weeks ago so you could have checked out those respectable artists who played at night and prepare your self and your exquisite ears for such "disgusting house" sounds.
* about bar prices - you could have brought water with you, same goes for the water melon - man, no one promised you free fruits!
* and about the deco - i know that beach and it's one of the lovliest spots up north, what better deco can you find than the beauty of nature? the sea, or the human colourfullness?
i'm quite a critique myself when it comes to parties but at least i come prepared by knowing the line up and bringing my own water and food and any thing else i need to make myself comfortable. and i never show such disrespect to artists by calling their music shit.

Judging by the reviews & pictures - Sunset to Sunset festival was one of the best events pulled in Israel on the last five years (or maybe more).

amazing party...super perfect, long time haven't enjoy like this one.
Posford (both hallucinogen + shpongle) was super trip!
x-dream too was killer!
& Xerox set was super powerfull...my legs and back still have pain from digging...
hope to have more parties like this one in Israel.

WOW! what a gathering it was...amazing crowd, deco, sound - made this festival just perfect
the highlights of the festival for me were...
Shpongle live - mr messy simply made me fly -one of the bests set in my life ,the guy is a genious.
X-dream live set - nostalgic tunez like - out here we're stoned & radio..and the absolute highlight for me- the last track of the set 'we interface' wow...what energies...
very good performances by Kirna, Perfect Stranger.
Respect Moksha guys, I had very good time. |
