once more.... the constant griping and moaning of the state of psychedelic trance has picked up once again...
i dont quite understand.....many people say that they want out of the scene and still stick around to complain about things....
i know at least for my case, if i wanted out of something and it wasnt giving me happyness, the solution would be pretty simple.
Leave...
Do something different...
do something that will make you happy and smile...
or if you are going to stick around do something to change things in a positive manner...
the easiest thing to do is to have the "herd" mentality and complain alongside everyone who does....
why stick around and be unhappy and infect others with your views if you want out?
if you want out...
you know where the door is....

You are simply saying to give up on what we love most man...People in here grumble because a lot of new music comes out and there is no trip in it...It's just great beats and quality but all the same story man, we grumble because we are not happy in a scene that once made us happy...I could have given up and walk out the door as you say but instead we try to fight for what we love most - Psychedelic Trance! We work hard for this we make music for 5 years now and Dj and organise parties here on the island and never we play commercial music! Never! We are people who live to create Trance in every dancefloor we play and we grumble because we know better than this stuf that's coming out today! So please accept that there is a different story and we would like to have a space in this scene for this story also  It's love love for music made with hearth and soul!

The only thing that is shit about this scene is the common wankery that comes out of this forum. Don't get me wrong it can be very useful at times.
I've had nothing but great times at parties, festivals and so on, but every time I come on here someone is bitching about something.

As I said in another thread, we have a saying in the US,
"Too many chiefs, not enough Indians."
Meaning, that everyone seems to have THE answers, but no one is doing anything about it. Everyone is saying, "do it this way". Then they complain when no one is doing it THEIR way.
Im trying to start throwing parties where I live, the way I feel a party should be thrown. If you think you can make a better party, well then, be my guest! But until you can actually DO something other than offer criticism, kindly keep your unconstructive comments to yourself. "Needs more melodies" or "Too many straight basses" are not constructive criticism, they're opinionated comments.
You all know where the door is!
Concerns are one thing, but mroe and more it seems people are just grouping together to bash on something they don't agree with. When you get a bunch of people who share the same opinions bashing on the same thing, their ideas tend to reverberate and create this juggernaut idea, smashing through any rational discourse.
Open minds are a necessity, if we are to stay out of the pit that most commercial music is in today. If you can't listen to the music with an open mind, and decide AFTER you hear it whether or not you like it, then maybe you should either leave the scene or go make your own!
I agree with Soulfood, this forum seems to be the hotbed of complaints, elitism, narrow mindedness and general unpleasantness. Bitch, moan, complain, but at the end of the day, WTF ARE YOU DOING TO CHANGE THIS SITUATION!???!
I have a single rule when I take people on long road trips: If you can't offer a VIABLE ALTERNATIVE, if you can't accept the responsibility of being wrong or getting us lost, then you don't get to complain!
