- eskimo ( HOW ON EARTH does he do just
about everything?! )
- electro sun
( I need to learn to put some
of that emotion into my tracks )
- cycle sphere
(This guy has crazy CRAZY sounds, I love them!)
- phanatic
( its all in the sweet sweet details )
- Bizzare Contact
( I wont let him leave the studio untill I know how to do the synth lead of One Day In Mexico and the interlude lead of The Beach, omg its gorgeous. TELL ME NOW. )
It would be delicious. |

We are talking in here on a virtual case of "If i could .." . By now im living in the realty . Cant say i never learn from others it will be an big mistake and blunder , Just say in here that at the same time i can develop my self in here by hard work and alone .
And colin man .. Dont have to be angery & wrath on me and just because i dont wanna play at this unrealistic , foolish and invalid game .

Cool, i'd love to sit in on a Highko session too - just out of curiosity I wanted to ask you what it was specifically that you found so impressive?
How fast he was creating tracks? Sonic trickeries? How good he was at synthesizing? His work method?

well i saw him work at one of the tantrumm records guys house in india...
what 'wow'ed me, was the way his workflow seemed to go...
i always imagined an artist like highko having like 1000000 layers of sound and fx etc but funnily enough when he was working he couldnt have had more than 5/6 vst (vanguard, albino) open... secondly he left everything in midi and only bounced the sections that he needed to audio mangle, filter, stretch etc.. like literally the last 4 beats of a 16 beat loop...
he also referenced everything off his hd25's, even though he was using genelec monitors.. and every sound.. every change was monitored on his paz analyzer.. he seemed to be using his headphones more than the monitors!!
but what got me the most wowowowowed was the way he used regular run of the mill plugins (vanguard) to sound soo fucking big... respect... |

Cardinals Cartel -
i agree with you about how much you can
develop your self by hard work.
but not totally alone, and not without trying to teach or elaborate with others what you think you have learnd, you understand pretty quick if you get the whole picture or not when you are trying to explain to someone else what you mean or how something works.
If you can explain something to someone in different ways(give different examples/versions - make analogies) so s/he will understand, then you are wise.
Though somethings cant be explaind but must be experienced.
Somethings arent learnt in a day or even many years, sometimes there are lots of doors to the grand hall of knowledge, communication with your self and others opens lots of those doors.
I believe you can learn something from every person in this world, (both god and bad things hehe)
last word, i wouldnt want just one day.. thats bearly enough to prepare for recording
Boom!
