I was thinking when I was making some food at home..

If we call the heavy psytrance music of "Dark", why we don't call the FullOn music of "Light"?! Taking into consideration of "dark" is the oposite of "light"!

What do u think?!

Dont think that dark is an heavy psytrance music .

Think is realy wrong using the word 'Heavy' when we are talking about dark . Maybe 5% from the all world psy artists are realy 'Heavy Darker' , X Dream , The Delta , Things like that .

So talking about 'The heavy psytrance music of the dark' The way you present it , I think its abit exaggerated and realy far away from the reality and the true .

Think about it the next time when you making some food at home ..

Dark is whats supposed to be played at Night and Light usually the morning fluff n fullon kinda stuff ....whats the point again ???           Being, a bundle of minute, unique particulars in which, by some unspeakable and yet self-evident paradox, was to be seen the divine source of all existence.

The point is... Dark is what u call about when u are in a place that don't have light... and why we call this to a genere of a psymusic?!

Light music can be heavy too, and fullon can be dark.

Who said heavy music = dark? Dark has nothing to do with the intensities. When the vibe/atmosphere is night time, people call it dark. You can have dark ambient/chill-out music as well Call the fluff whatever you like : )

Ok guys... maybe was not very cleary!!

I mean.... ok... U can call "Dark" in many kind of music, ambients, etc...

But what I want to ask is if we call the "night time" of Dark... Why we call the "day time" as FullOn... why not "Light"?!

One of the problems is that most of todays dark trance fans think that when a track is under 150 bpm and has a slight hint of melodies, or fullonish characteristics it is supposed to be day time music (Absolum isn`t morning trance, you know). The other problem is that todays morning trance is almost completely produced in the form of full on.           SPQR

I like your thinking

In the past few years people have categorised this scene so much that it has acted in a way to separate us all

Most people go for a certain bpm they can dig - no need create categories
