I'm tired of watching the same topics over and over again, whether they are party promotion topics, or repetitive dj related topics...if i wanted this section to be opened again, it was not to have the same futile posts that we see in other isratrance sections. I'd like to discuss the trance scene in our country, the evolution of this particular genre of music and it's consequences in our society, in our way of life. So. if u have anything to say, NOW IS THE F@#$CKING TIME  . Just kidding, lol, but really, if u have anything to say about this please post it, and let's start a conscious post about something that really matters, something that makes us think, reflect.

i understand that u are bored about the same topics, although there may exixt people that there isnīt..so for now we must respect that!
not only preocupate how things are..they also produce music, some are party organizers etc..etc..there are inomerous subjects that can b discussed in here.so donīt b bored 
now 2 your question:
i guess u are asking bout the scene in Portugal, right?
what do u wish 2 know..what people feel about it?
well, i guess it all depends the eye where u are watching..
my perspective:
Portugal has one of the biggest scenes in the world..u can see by the number of parties thrown everyweekend..we can have fun all weekends almost
now quantity, doesnīt mean quality. 4 example,progressive stuff is makin some good parties here in portugal..almost every replies i see reviewing that same parties..people all the time say it was a nice, good party!
one thing that i notice is that parties in Portugal, donīt have such a varied line up..i mean, most of the comon parties donīt have a balenced line up...most of them are, full on all night and day..
thix is one of the major concerns, 2 me.
another one is the amount of garbage, that people do these days..and most of the times, the garbage isnīt removed by the org. it is a shame.people donīt worry bout the environment 
parties with lack of conditions.some parties not even bathrooms have...it is very fucked up 4 the ladies..we?anywhere..ladies?pretty fucked up!
but...we have one of the most great,strong, and addicted (in the good sence of the word), scene in the world..some festivals/parties u can see that we are here 2 party!!!..portuguese audience is always enjoying from start 2 the end of the party!!
some good parties are made in Portugal..we can bring fresh names in the scene..which is good..
i remember kindzadza partie thix year, that was very good in terms of live act of him!
didnīt had 2 many people, but it was very good!
it was one of the few that i went, and i congratulate "Psynce recs"for thix one!
and i could go on and on and on...
it is a very subject question..cause when i SPEAK 4 myself..i am only a consumer..but a party organizer could say it was a good party, cause lotīs of people went 2 his party..or in the perspective of a producer..it was good party, cause his performance went well..and so on...
my humble opinion!

i think is just a matter of timing, cause maybe posts you see for the first time here and you actually answer and participate, other users might have seen similar ones 2 or 3 times, and some topics that you see for the 2nd or 3rd other users might be seeing them for the first time.
so this is a forum, and i believe that it is normal in forums for subjects to be discussed over and over again (specially in forums related to one particular subject, in this case psytrance) changing only the intervinients, although i feel like you sometimes.

lithium is right..before the Portugal section desapear, many topics were concerning the subject u were talkin about..
but since there is none in the iberia section..well thix is the 1st
and the scene in spain..i would like 2 know a little bit about it also

One thing about the partys it's the people. Each time more u see violence and robberies at each party. The partys are full of people with no interest in the music and only with bad vibes. What's happen to the trance spirit ? |

i woulnd't call them heaven, but i can give you the example os Da Providers parties, the Son Kite, D-Nox at Lua, and Infusion and Beckers at Opart, or de iboga lagel party, did hear about any violence in these events.
But am useed to hear about problems in psychadelic parties for a lot for years.
Wich makes me wonder why people keep on going anyway.

yes one thing spasm is right, i havenīt heard none/or almost none violence at progressive parties.
but for the few parties i went these few months, things seem 2 b calming down..or i was just lucky?

hey guys, don't think i am complaining because i am not. i have nothing against people promoting themselves or parties or whatever, i just wanted to throw something else to discuss, didn't mean to offend anyone Rui..it was not my intention, it's just that i want the forum to have a much larger variety of discussed themes, i'm not saying by any means that u shouldn't post promotions of any kind, actually, i do encourage it because it was something i missed very much when our section was closed. a3k, that is a point of discussion too, but that leads us, as always, to the crescent number of party promoters (as i said before) that don't give a shit about confort, good vibe..etc...all the good things we seek in a party. That and the overpublicizing of some major parties, that leads to unwanted people attending them! i really miss a hipnose party, or a goodmood one..even a quest 4 goa party.it's true that we are "addicted" to psytrance, and that probably we have one of the biggest scenes in the world (we're a small country, have that in mind), and that too makes us more vulnerable to the degradation of the scene, but we still have those GOOD parties, they are rare, but they happen. the other thing u mentioned a3k was the fact that our parties always have (or almost) the same djīs throwing full on power at the dancefloor, but that's what sells and what most people want to hear in a party..it's wrong but it's how it's done..i was used to hearing a progression in sound during a party, and now it's only full on full on full on, which is very good if you'r high as a kite, but sometimes it becomes stressful and uncomfortable to be massacred with the same type of sound for so long. If full on was only a small part of the party u would see much less unwanted people in parties, that's for sure, but promoters don't want that, now do they?Another thing that i wanted to discuss was the effect that psy scene has on our society as in, are we changing mentalities?are we as united as we think we are?what impact does is have on the people we know?does it makes us better persons?i like to believe it does, i like to believe that what we stand for (PLUR) is the correct way to do it, to face life, to face other people...
