Before I heard trance I was into hard house, I definately don't want to think about where that road would have taken me ... nowhere sunny and beautiful, that's for sure.

And this is the end of the road then?

Ehm... I assume not.
Why? what have you heard? |

That Psy-trance is dead and the next path on the road leads to Psychedelic techno. |

It's always been techno to me anyway
As long as it's built on hypnotic repetition and has a good few nice textures going on, well that's just fine by me |

I'd be traveling to see the likes of Tiesto, Armin Van Buuren, etc at packed clubs with people wearing sunglasses inside.
For me and my region, there is nothing better than psytrance. The vibe around raves here is awesome, but nothing has topped psytrance events.

Obviously you've never been to an IM, Skazi, Astrix gig then. Packed clubs with people wearing designer glasses and clothes, galore.

I would probably have a lot more braincells left, a lot better memory, better lungs, would have seen less beautiful forests and beaches, would have had less religious experiences on a dancefloor, I don't know if I would have gone to study audio tech, would have made a lot more techno tunes, would play my instruments a lot more and would be easier for me to conform to society's guidelines.

I never plan on it either . I was just saying that's what I'd be doing if it weren't for psytrance.

That's the thing so much of it isn't built on hypnotic repetition anymore. |

if it werent for psytrance i prolly would never started listening to electronic music cause i started listening to it in boom festival 97 and i never had contact with electronic music before ... so i would prolly stil be a reggae and metal junkie like in the late XX century ...
