Hey all I was wondering what your thoughts are of psydm and idmish chills evolution into the scene. If a new label started catering to this category would there be a market? Also are there any artists here who would consider releasing idmish stuff to a new label? |

there is enough talented people for that
the question is where is the honest and good label for it 
try indepth for exemple

aaarrgghh.. last time I heard the term "intelligent" applied to dance music was "intelligent Drum & Bass".. its NOT meant to be intelligent - its DANCE music!
and if you cannot dance to it - then why call it dance music?
anyway.. "genre" desciptions have mind of their own (Dubstep & grimecore anyone?).. so back to the question...
Theres normally a market for most stuff and quality of any description will sell - but given even labels like Dragonfly/LSD are struggling - I wouldnt expect to make a fortune out of it (it does sadden me when you hear albums like the Abakus, Ott or Tripswitch album and realise they'll only sell a few thousand at tops...) |
