cuttin your bass at 60hz its cutting his balls!
my recomend is dont highpass above 40hz.

i cut nothing especially on BASS !!!
coz it depends of your speakers also, and how loud u play... (and where u are )
on a very big P.A. system u might need those very low freqs, to SHAKE party ppl haha right in the stomach !!!
also look for your speakers (monitors) range and crossovers
