some people are saying iceland is the new ibiza...
what does evryone reckon? there a lot of real cool chilled out acts, in particular electronic, coming from iceland at the mo-
u got the classic acts like moa ad gus gus, but also new acts like mum, turning out real experimental stuff
ibiza became popular as he clubbers detination...but with all the hundreds of 'chilled ibiza snset' and 'ultimate relaxed chill' compilations coming out, does that mean evryones gonna invade iceland now in the summer to 'chill out', mayb for a post ibiza week?
and isnt this world losing its grip!?!?! |

I have never heard of anybody going to iceland..
Iceland is COLD! in the summer too.. but it would be kind a cool to have a party there next to the hot water springs |

but quite a few people i know are talking about going over there, and i hear ppl say things like 'iceland, the next ibiza'... which is a bit dumb
cos then if evryone goes, theyll spoil another natural beauty spot

ok, but then Ibiza would be a great place for outdoor parties again, since the superclubs mafia gives $ to the police to stop the parties... I could see for myself.. last july, I was diggin´on the Mayan Calendar party and the police got into the party with some dogs and lacrimogenic gas... a guy from argentina, who tooked too much lsd, was very afraid of it and jumped from a 200 meters hill... and died... everyone was pissed with the police and the news on the newspaper said: "A boy killed himself bcz of too much lsd on an outdoor party"...
hey, brits: go to iceland and leave ibiza for the trance ppl!
(I´m not talkin´ bout you, >Dancing Coriander King< but about all those San Antonio brits who gives money to the Ministry of Sound parties @ Space and all this crap!) |

no, ui think we should send the ministry of sound loving brits to somewhere indiscriminate...i like all the music thats coming ouit of iceland at the mo; gus gus, moa, mum
its all good
damn superclub mafia, look at goa, trance never destroyed the goa landscape did it?
problem with ibiza is that now its a whole british invasion, but everyone goes over to see all the DJs from britain and it seems real pointless... especiall when most ppl dont really dig the scenery that much, cuz they go to the ibizan clubs..
so where r the good psy parties in ibiza? |

The good psy parties are on the northern part of the island... Benirras, Portinatx, San Miquel and all this side of the island... there´s the Namasté, every wednesday @ Las Dalias (I believe it´s on San Carlos, but I´m not pretty sure about it), wich is a huge chill out with an indoor psytrance dancefloor... there´s a huge psytrance scene over the island, GMS guys, Max, Serge, Celli...they all live on the island.... you can find GMS&Amigos cd selling on the streets... lol... weird! Also check out ECO, a cyber cafe, restaurant and cd shop, in San Juan... lot´s of Tip.World discs on there... you can also check Can Fly, from Pablo, a guy from Argentina... every saturday a dj plays over there...the rest of the week, it´s just an hindu restaurant with ambient music.... very good though...it´s on the road from san miquel to portinax...I´m not pretty sure if i´s the correct road, but just go to somewhere over Santa Eularia and ask about this places..... hippie market @ las dalias... a lot of trance ppl that will let u know about the parties...
