Yeah, every time I hear Shpongle I think "how the **** do they come up with these mind-bending sounds? And how do they make such complex arrangements so fluid and natural?"
Would love to watch Simon work. Not only the DAW project, but the way he develops ideas in general.

I have seen some pro guys working, I even have some of their projects including the freely available on the net by guys like Electrypnose and SCM. I think the experience of watching someone work is richer than having the DAW file but it is useful too.
I have some of the cubase files from guys in my local scene that I respect a lot. Most of what you can learn is arrangement and maybe some idea on how to tweak sounds if automation is there...

I use Logic for about a month now and it's better than anything else(for me). ex Cubase,Live,FL user

Im still getting used to the workflow in Logic.For me Fl was very simple and unique but Logic is more complex but u can do much more.There are certain things that i dont like about Logic - like no Arrpegiator..there is one but its a whole thing just to set it up.In Fl its just a click in ur piano roll.But im making amazing music with this program.Peace.

I used Fl from 5 to 9 and moving to Live was lifesaver, than Cubase was big brake throught, now Logic is just IT
Maybe snapping is little downer and automation,but compare to Fl all over the place everything,no thanks.
If you are moving from Fl to anything you are clueless, but after Cubase-Logic switch you are at home, almost the same principle, new shortcuts and tricks, but one good tutorial (Lynda.com) and you are back in the track
