Remixing the prodigy is a sure hit. There has not been one psytrance remix of their music that has been as good as the original, but they've all been dancefloor hits - I guess psytrance people are usually close-minded when it comes to dancing to something other than four-on-the-floor music. And The Prodigy is really high energy music, add a bassdrum, and instant full-on success. It may be that the artists are just lazy, come to think of it.
Remixing Kraftwerk would actually require some talent if you'd want to make it dancefloor friendly in a psytrance party... So maybe it's just lack of imagination.
Or the best answer, let them do what they want, if it's good, you'll dance.

No doubt that all prodigy sources are much better than 4 on the floor mixes to full on the source tracks are much more powerfull.
I guess it all happens because full on realy get closer and closer to the main stream and collect to itself more and more people who Are more easily connected to music with some aspects they know like podigy leads or nirvana guitars etc.
personally i don't like all that remixes , i would prefer the artists to be influenced by prodigy and not remix their leads insiede a full on tracks.
No doubt kaz is right all of those are dancefloor hits and thats a good enough reason for full on artist to keep on doing it.
BTW 'enjoy the silence - depeche mode' was mixed in many ways in dance and house versions i think that soon enough there will be a full on version for this song too.

a little bit offtopic....the new prodigy album, will come out thix year...so can u imagine, all those rmx again...
and i liked the idea, of remixing enigma...like a lot of thix guy!

hehe , dude they remixed enigma and despche mode ... what did fungus did ????
hes becoming more disapointing latly , i miss the wass sience and inverst the acid dance floor style .
anyway i dont like all that remixes , it sounds like mtv-trance to me

maybe the artists just don't like music from kraftwerk or the other artists that there not remixing.. I liked a couple of prodigy songs, and i'd do remix of them if i had the skillz..
Much like i'd like to see a remix of a track from Primus, or some samples from zack de la rocha (fear is your only god)
