I use Fruity Loops 3.3 to make some music. Nothing professional, just for fun. But thereīs something thatīs really pissing me off!!! When i try to put a double kick(double kick in the end of 8x8, know what i mean?) it makes a weird sound of interference. Probably with the bass. But the weirdest thing is that in some parts of my track this problem simply donīt occur.... Iīm about a week trying to solve this problem(using filters, changing cut/res/volume, changing the wave as possible in FL)!!!! Anyone can help me fix this problem??? Who fix it for me will receive my track for free....hehehehehe kidding.

this is a very strange prob.
if this is a freq. overriding - try playing with EQ in the main mixer (if there's such thing in FL)
and make the bassline out of freq. range of the kick (or the opposite)

some kik endings are not comfortable with your bass freq! so it will be not helpfull to try to change kik or bass by filter just do another kik ednin . most of simplle ednin not workin with vsti basses ( moun and tbl )
simple side changer 4 example

pick the sample, I think that in one of the menus there, there is a "cut itself" button. This should fix it.
Also, maybe you should edit the kick in wavelab or soundforge, so it's not too dominant on the sub (or more accurately, make sure it's frequencies and that of the bassline aren't exactly the same).
And when do I get the track? ;)

And Asaf, be sure that u will receive the track as soon as possible. But my track is a very amateur production, my first track of my first contact with Fruity Loops...

there is a simlper option- try just taking the volumes of evrything down
so your overall output doesnt go in to the ol'red |

Thanks Morpheus. I did it, but Asaf tip fixed my problem. Anyway the volume adjustments takes a long time for me, nad really makes the track better. I never know when all volumes are at the right level. Well, lots of tests, thatīs how Iīm trying to make it at best.

You allways have to EQ you sounds....
when kick and bass are together you need to eq them and listen....

Sure I do Freq!!! But I donīt have kick sampler with the bass at the same time.... anyway, Iīm amateur, donīt know how to eq a track. And I only change the levels of volume of my track. Donīt use mastering programs. Iīm sure it makes the track better, but I donīt even have a program to do it... |

well.... when u want to do something pro... you need a pro application..
cubase have a mixer that controls every channel and then u need to use a eq on each channel and hear them both... |

I think fruity loops is nice but you cant compare it to cubase or logic....
