by the israeli tax office/government.
my new order arrived from psyshop, and when i came to pick them up, they told me i had to pay extra 52 nis to get them, like its not enough that the $ is as high as it is.
now the thing is that it wasnt even taxes, couse i wasnt over 100$, it was v.a.t. (ma'am), apperantly for every purchase over 20$ the government takes v.a.t. 17% (although its the first time anyone took this v.a.t. from me, and i shop regularly at psyshop for quite some time).

You werent rob my friend.Taxes apply to every country of the world.For example here in Greece when i make big orders i take the risk of paying taxes but ussually the shops write on the packages that the package is a gift or something so that the customs wont open it.It has worked for ome all the time

this also happend to me with a psp game...
I ordered one through regular snail mail and it arrived with no taxes whatsoever. a couple of months later i ordered another game and this time i picked ems (faster mail). when it got to israel i had to pay the 18% ma'am aswell....

Yeah the taxes issue is a bitch i think in all the world, here in mexico i ordered a motu828mkII from san francisco CA, i payed the total that was about like 750dls and then when the motu arrived here i have to pay an extra 110 dls for international taxes!!!!! Damn pricks, for one way it was a roob but if u buy a motu here in mexico u have to pay like 1,300dls so it was ok at the end,im happy with my motu and i still say fuck the goverment haaaa

where i live in the caribbean the gov't charges 40-50% in taxes for all events involving live artists or DJ's... try to put on a nice show without any kind of sponsorship on those prices... that is of course not including the bribe money for cops if they find the place...
