want to remind you of... buying 15 cd's per month @ $15/pop without a digital preview hoping you got some good stuff based on your intuition and a bit of luck based on labels that compiled and did a lot of that discovery for you. The track "spiritual combat" by Messenger, released on Sympathy in chaos 3 (matsuri productions in 1999). Sadly no youtube link, but one of the best chill but no chill tracks, that I know. Dark rap psy chill trip hop, unique
also:
- Hallucinogen - Gamma Goblins remix by Ott, brilliant dark:
- and: Kick Bong "heavy machine": beautiful dark acid, no youtube, sorry
- and: D.I.M.O "Stirred not shaken": twisted dark boom boom, but chill
- and: everything by Cypher

I think some of that might be nostalgia. I clearly remember more than a few "let's check this out." purchases turning out to be total crap or only having one really good song. Though I do miss digging through the bins. It was a great way to spend an afternoon.
I'm a huge fan of the digital age. As soon as I hear about something I can download a copy to fully listen to. As someone who buys 2-3 CDs per week, I'd rather limit my potential disappointments. O_o
Anyhow: Snakestyle!
