the last two tracks on Shiva Space Technology's 'Kumharas' va... it's 1999 again...
D.P.O.D's 'Caravan Au Soliel' is slo mo hypnosis at its best; 16 minutes just float by, tribal / dub / ethnotronic sounds reverb forever. I'd been meaning to give this a listen for a while but only just got round to it. I can almost forgive some of the vocal samples, I think I liked them more back then... But it's an epic tune, how can I say this track is cavernously deep without sounding cheesy ?
& Shawn's 'Nexti' - a nice exit with a pulse that is just the right side of ambient, keeps you guessing right to the end. Plenty of trance flavour.
