hmm ok, maybe i expressed myself in a wrong way.

i made a pic, maybe you can understand it better then.

what i got is such a thing http://www.thomann.de/at/prod_bdb_AR_191246.html?image=0

the problem with it was, that ive had always to switch in- and out-puts to the soundcard when i wanted to record something.

the output of my soundcard went in to the mixer, and from there to the speakers/headphones. at the same time the mic went from the mixer into my soundcard. the output signal of the mixer was fucked up at any sound. and when i recorded something with the mic, ive had to switch of my speakers, because they putted out the signal live... when i put down the signal out of the mixer, there was no mic-signal too.

maybe i connected something wrong? i tried really alot now i wanted to buy something what works well... for more money maybe.

any advice?

Actually what you need is a mixer, something like this one: http://www.lizastarlight.com/yamaha%20mixer.jpg

However casual mixers aren't sound cards, so you will need that one also (though i take it you already have one).

didn't use this one, but i've heard that behringer mixers are quite noisy.

I have this behringer too.(Not my only mixer but a very small one - practical ).But I can say this one is really noisy and limited.
If you have lots of things like synthesizer, maybe microphone etc and wanna combine all together go for a bigger one atleast.

If I want to use microphone over my korg and record all with stuff from sequencers to a sequencer I have to use my big old phonic pmc 802 - which is next to my nose but off some longer while ,cause light of meters is not working anymore - old bitch hehe .
So I record on my lil behri in a not comfortable combinative way,-seperately- which sucks a bit.

I think the yamaha is a nice one,but only from observations..And it is another price range.
I'd like to go for yamaha someday.
But the behringer does the job, just hate to switch often cables and would love to add sth more. It is pretty affordable and ok though. You can not have the output of all your sequencer channels of course, that is another league of mixers and soundcards.          https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

Alesis io|series, or sumthing like the Art accesories USBDUALPRE (this is very good for its price range) they sell in my shop like hot cakes hehe

or u could get a mixer to go with ur sound card, my recomendations are allen & heath ZED range or Yamaha MG range           [[[G|L|I|T|C|H]]]
