Getting out of "loopitis" is so important it can't be understated. Finish your tracks even if you think they suck. I also find it helps to listen to as little of the track i'm working as possible until it's finished and to concentrate on keep it going. I can always delete a bad idea, but I can't just as quickly introduce a completely new one. Once I have the basic structure for the track finished, I'll listen to the whole thing and if I've done it right it'll still sound new and fresh and I'll have the drive to complete it. If I spent too much time listening to the same 8 bar loop or relistening to whatever progress I'd made every few hours, I'd start to hate the track and never wanna finish it. In the first 6 months I started producing psy I had half-finished 1 track. In the past month and a half I've completed 3...and each one is better than the last and took less time to do.

It'll come together, just keep pushing!

oh , and dont worry about album or anything mate.. when its the right time it will come... fuck this other peaple that make album within year from start producing this is what ruin the hole psy scene soundtrack.. anyone agree that alot alot of music realesed today is utter crap!
for me it took 6(!) years to make my first album.. and about 2.5 years that im working now on second and finnaly got 90% of the tracklist done.

i rather even to have wait more and have more perfect result.. but once its great for sure i love to see it out there hey..

its all about quality not quantity , i have another 2 albums almost ready that im not entirly sure about it, and even had couple of offers to realese it with nice labels but i decided to not do it.. and i think it was the right move.. if their time will come then it will..

i would rather you to get perfect track within a year rather making another avarege album in this year.. so maybe this looping procedure is not that bad after all..

btw if you still after a kick drum.. stay tuned i have new sample pack coming very soon!

get the fuck out of your house, get high/stoned, fall in love (could not be a person mind you...could be some butterfly flying on to some flower...i'm not as weird as this post suggests....honest!) if you are not into class As, that is fair enough (lightweight ), but living your life to the fullest is your best source of inspiration. do god things, fuck up, its all part of the learning curve, one thing is for sure, inspiration will come back, bucketloads.

True for most people, but not everyone. Dragon had only been producing for a year before releasing his album and it is very high quality and very unique.           http://soundcloud.com/ascensionsound

It's a good thing you don't have any inspiration... it means you have the soul of an artist (as opposed to just a technician) and can't write music if you don't have anything to say. Many people seem to churn out track after track, but all too often the it sounds to me like they're just exploring the technology, rather than using it to write the music that's in their head and their heart.

Embrace your fear of not being able to write... take some of the advice given here and leave it alone for a while, have some life experiences, do stuff you've always wanted to do. Eventually you will find the music comes back - and if it doesn't, well, better to have had the experience, enjoyed it, done good work and been honest about its ending, than to try and flog a dead horse. In my humble opinion.

another thing i was myself deep stuck in. completely out of inspiration and thinking about those artists, releasin track after track..... thanks a lot for these true n gr8 words m8......thanks a lot !!!
