Hey friends, I realy realy LOVE the tunes of TIKAL and want to ask you, if you know an artist, who has kind of similar style.

So, I´m searching for positive Full On (maybe also progressive)Trance with some realy "touching" ethnic samples in it .... music to fly away ...
(please don´t mention Shpongle )

Thank you for your help

there is not really anything like it this is why this album was so special, now all the copycat will wake up and do stuff sounding like that but never outdoing the original.

just my humble opinion and i really like this album and find it one of the freshest things to happen to the full on scene this year           DJ NADI EarPeaks music Group (Domo/Tupan/Gat music)

Sirius isness Might be helpful.
i like Tikal very much too.
As nahimoff mentioned Tikal has a unique style.
but i find a lil similarity between Tikal and Silicon Sound.

*Karma Cola*, i agree about sirius isness with you.
i disagree about silicon sound, he is a level above most of the producers today in the scene, a quiet french genius who is one of the coolest most down to earth persons iv'e had to pleasure of meeting.

Never had the pleasure of Meetin the gentleman, but i'll take ur word for it.
I wud think Silicon sound is the most perfect morning artist. im also very partial to the other frenchman Lestat.

imho tikal is already a bamboo forest copycat ... they just add the typical and formated full on bassline, but nothing new imho!
