Try Lev Solutions, intresting Dynaudio fake which fits your ultimate price.
Behrigner produce too much lows and sometimes it's imposible to mix on them           "there once was a lesbian from Cancun

what ever u do...dont buy behringer its a shity monitor, its the moust un tight monitor ever, the sound is fake, the crosover is shity, and the monitor "hums" in some freqs'.
i personally had a couple 4 about 1.5 years.
once i saw a whole series of them that made the same noise in the same freq.
(anybody that have them knows what im talking about)
and olso the new series of them is complitly
the same thing, maybe only some minor adds..
i say save some money and buy the passive model of "ADAM" its a good tight monitor for beginners&+,its should cost about 5500 nis includs a proper amplifire.

IMO the smallest passive Dynaudios sound better than the adams passives. I just got the dynaudios via a friend who produces and works in a music store, so we were able to compare all the monitors there. The adams are more expensive but the dynaudios sound more full IMO.

For good representative monitors, look for second hand Yamaha NS10's, if you can find decent price then at least you will have good representive monitors.

ofcource that DYnAUDIO r better, the acurate sound the deepnes of the speaker...but not the 5.5".
start with the bm6' of DYNA'.
5.5" r small 4 producing monitor.
4 reference they r super 4 sure.

I was a bit worried about the size also until i heard them and compared to other monitors, they dont seem to lack any bass at all, despite their size.           Cytopia.org

Just my 2 cents...

What a mess here!!! Imho u are talking about differents monitors here...

I was looking for my first monitors some time ago. And here´s my final veredict:

There´re several "low budget" monitors, wich are very similar to each other... Not on the sound, but overall rate. These monitors are:

Roland ds-50, Beringer Truth(the small one), Alesis One mkii, Samson Resolv, M-Audio Bx-5.

I found also some more expensive monitors, with better sound, like Tannoy Reveal, M-Audio Bx-8, and KRK ones(don´t remember the serie), Mackie Hr-624.

And finally I found my monitor.... The Dynaudio BM5A... It´s the new Dynaudio serie, with 6,5" woofer. Tight sound imo.

So, u really need to fix the money u have. If u can only get the "low budget" monitors, my advice is: take the ones that u like the most!!! If u can´t listen to all, take the one u think looks nice, cause imho, all these "low budget" options wil be only for some time.... U will change it ASAP...           LOADING...

listen...u can buy samson, behringer or what ever...but remember that u r buying gear that ull have 2 move on from it,lets say...in a year or 2.

so if u r buying monitors, new one's,so go and buy quality, not a speaker with amplifire that calls "behringer" or what ever.

save some money, work on hi fi speakers for a while, and then buy quality.

in 5000 nis u can start 2 look for a decent monitor.           http://www.myspace.com/reshefhook
