Just a quick message to all the people who are not experienced. There are alot of 'sober' goa partiers nowadays, and the politically correct approach is to say "that's a good thing, the music is what counts !" , everyone has seen people say or post "I only need the music to make me high" ... Heeeelloooo people??? Fellow psy-heads wake up ! It IS a big deal, it's even more important than the music, psy-trance is in essence is a glorification of the psychedelic experience, a tribute from our world to all those incredible dimensions of our minds and of reality. You're missing out on something HUGE... as Bill Hicks was fond of saying : "Take mushrooms folks, squeegee your third f*cking eye!"
PS: Thinking about a recent mind-blowing experience compelled me to write this, and of course I advise caution with their usage but if your not mentally unstable then please do try and experience it, at least once. I go to many events and parties sober, and I don't listen to that much psy during my home trips (actually no, I always listen to an album or two on the come-down nowadays  ). I got into psy trance before I ever touched a drug. That is not the point pr0fane, peace.

That being said, it's true that I find that listening to psy-trance without ever using a psychedelic is like enjoying watching trailers for movies and then never taking the time to actually go see the full movie...

Like I said: clueless. You people make me laugh you know that? All the time bitching about drugs and 'happy good things' while you can't obviously begin to imagine that there are people out there that are in this scene for the music and not for the drugs, nor do they want to take drugs. To not take drugs is a choice. You shouldn't want to enforce that on people, like you seem so intent on doing.
And get this: for people that brag they're so open minded, you sound closed off and ignorant (insulting even) to me. You didn't even ASK me why I said clueless. I meant clueless in the fashion I stated above.
No, instead of asking you begin to patronize me, insult me even.
Now the way I see it is this: there are a number of options, and ofcourse I'm going to spell them out for you:
1. If you ARE open minded and kind you can apologize to me now.
2. You don't apologize, and let everyone see what you truly are.
