with both you will get "psytrance" familiar sounds.
with both its great way to learn synthesis and midi work.
nord is cheaper usualy cause lack of FX what the virus have , i think it makes it better for live more then studio work.
its easier to "copy" the nord-ish style with virus , while its not as easy to do it the other way around.
anywayz , congrats
btw check good for the nord version u get i was realy liking the 1 "raw" sound abit more then the "tight" sound of 2 , maybe it was the refreshing change tho
for virus , the diffrence from TI to the others is huge , the TI is complete work station while b,c,indigo are synths with fx. www.sattelbattle.com

That is very true, I'd suggest Virus as it has some nice built-in fx - makes it nicer to come with the whole sound out of the module, rather than program new sound and only then start applying fx. IMO it makes your work flow better.
If you decide to go for the Virus, try getting a Ti as (at the moment) it is probably the most advanced synth in the price range, for example - you can connect it to your computa via USB which frees 2/4 audio ins in your soundcard, though the Virus C is very recommended too
  YEEEEES! |

nice one! just remember to buy also an FX unit... I use an old Alesis Midiverb and it makes perfect use for the nord, especially the reverbs and delays |

Hi,
if you favour Clavia, you should think about the Nord Modular G2 !!!!
I think it's more individually !
