to avoid overlapping u need to record your bass patch in audio 16th bar and delete the part that is bigger than one sixteenth note.then pick a drum rack and play your bass lines from there. dune plug in is very powerfull for creating psy basslines |

I love how QUICK it is to get subtle variations in omni. I mean, shit, just right click > modulate > Random...on stuff like the analog/phase/waveform shapes or sample start if you're using a sample and you're off to the races.

+1. absolutely using that. 2 hard panned oscs, random wave start phase, a lil bit of tweaking the start phase range, boom.
