I got these speakers by Wharfedale, which are:
200 WAT Continues
400 WAT Program
800 WAT Peak
Can anyone tell me what each one of them says?

These are results of measuring in different conditions.
I don't remember exactly, but the idea is:
Peak - the maximum power, at whick monitors don't damage if used likr that: 1 sec noise signal, 10 sec pause, and so for two hours.
Continuous - 10 sec noise signal, 2 minutes pause, and so for 10 hours.
Program - max. power to handle white noise signal for 100 hours wothout damage
I may be wrong in numbers but think you got the idea
