Haven't heard her live, so I can't give a full opinion. However, I thought her album, Esoterica, was awful. :/ |

She unfortunately has left the psychedelic trance scene, off to pursue other avenues.... I remember the first time I met her, it was when Dark Nebula came to northern California to promote his Robotic Tongue album, and we were less than thrilled to hear that he had gone the route of South African full on... I'm really glad that she got an opportunity to showcase her unique style, and I do miss her too.... If she sends me any links to her new stuff that she's into, I'll let ya know.

I was lucky enough to catch Xyla live at Il Pirata one time, and it was unlike anything I've ever see there. Real spellcraft.
There was talk of a Terror EBM cd with female vocals. I hope that project comes together. The Industrial scene could use that wrathful Hecate/Kali/Lilith-type energy very badly right about now.
As to her psy work, I really hope it sets a precedent, and that other people develop on that sound. That stuff would be great for desert parties.
