Slomi - are you being serious? i entered this community because it was a place where i could interact with diffrent people with diffrent notions of music and life all under one umbrella. i do not enjoy all genres, but i do enjoy the atmosphere of general acceptance that is psytrance. please think about what you are trying to impose on other and ask yourself if you wish the same done to you. about the dark well in not a fan and i think alot of it is a cat in a blender
but fullon mainstreem is much much worse and sure its not psy and dont tell me there is quality fullon well mabey a few years back but not now |

First of all:

And everyone else-quit it with the homophobic "x style is gay" shit. What are we, back in 7th grade? C'mon folks. Anyway, I will say this: It feels like the who dark psy movement hasn't had a new idea in a while, kinda like what happened to the progressive sound. It all sounds the same. And there's no time changes or unexpected elements-you know there will be the gritty flanged synth line, the oh so spooky horror/sci-fi movie sample, fast kicks etc. The only interesting character in the dark psy scene right now, imho, is Ghregg on Earth. His sound is dark, but full of layers and little melodies that jump out at you here and there, and a really deep, dare I say tribal feel to it. It's got a serious groove to it without ever feeling formulaic or cheesy. Dark Psy could go places if people would dare to think outside the box a bit more.

why club trance is not part of this forum?
because simply club trance is totally different direction from psytrance
if you will stop being cinical you will understand that all i'm saying is that dark music should open NEW GENRE they should be happy to do that NO? (and leave just like it was with clubtrance etc...)
people who listen to Full on, Progy, Tech - simply don't know and don't want to hear nothing about those dark artists.
example for psytrance with "dark" emotion which is psytrance and i like it = Neuromotor Spiralian...
example for dark that i don't listen(can't listen!) it has nothing to do with psytrnace and interesting music it is just music for dancefloor with bad quality and gives headache very easily. if i say dark trance, i talk about psychotic micro....etc . this is totally diferent genre!
can't you see that even in party people who listen to dark and people who listen to full on tech progy, simple don't like the same vibe!
what's the problem with taking apart the genres?!
just like club trance and psytrance.

its not dark trance its more like chaotic sensless noise trance, or even not trance..maybe we should just call it TOO MUCH NOISE.
