Hi, I'm doing a song and not try to follow the usual order
start slow and work up gradually, I have shown the composition
several friends of mine and I say it would be much better if he started with
the second melody before the first .. many will think that if I like
as well so I have to make, but I like to know the opinion of most people
they like this style of music, thank you very much for your opinion, be free!

unfortunately there's no tracklist in your myspace-player, so i could not hear the track :/ ... but i heard "Starry Night" (in the goear player!) and ... ... maybe can you help me with "how did you create the sound" in "Starry Night" at 1:10? i guess at 1:13-14 its the same sound with closed filter i think?! but im trying to re-synth this sound for a while now with no really good result. so do you have any tips for me how to create such a sound?
i'm new with synths (couple of months) and i would appreciate some help with that sound.

the song is starry night and I have it in the player gogear
because I do not like myspace.
1:10 The sound FX is a vengueance min (or image-line now
I'm sure) and this place in several different ways (on the contrary, a piece .. etc) can lead to a sound like with most synths but this in particular I like

it's very nice but i have to comments.
1. the second lea. that that comes in at 1:10 is much lower in volume than the first lead. i think actually that the first lead is too high. i think would be the best to decrease little bit the volume of the first lead and increase little bit the volume of the second one.
2. there is no exacly somthing wrong with it but i think you too much use melodies. and too fast in the track. the melody that comes in at 0:40 is a kind of melody that in most tracks i know comes in after 2-3 minutes. i love melodic trance but i think if you overuse them so you loose a bit the power in your track and the melody becoming less exiting. again there is nothing realy wrong in what you do, but it's my opinion. |

i love the idea but there are think to fix.
something is wrong with bassline for my opinion. a little bit too dull. i don't love the melody very much. space up little bit the lead that comes in at 2:27.
but i think it's interesting track. most of the sounds are good. the big break is vey good. |

Hi chichke ^^, yep... you are right, the truth that I thought of deleting the beginning,
starting as from breackdown ... I have 6 variations of the melody..
i can try to change it, the problem is that I feel sorry for partly,
it because i don't love it but not displease me
and has many hours of work because I am an amateur and I take more time
get a decent sound ... equally my goal is to make the best possible music
(of course within my capabilities and my musical tastes) so I will see I can do

you have to remember that behind all critics there is also the musical taste. melodies are something that are much musical taste than wrong or right. but if you fill not so comfortable with your melody so try to make new one. i don't think that you have to change it completly. just try to change some notes till you get what you want.
anyway i think you have good idea in the track and it can be very good track at least.
don't hurry. take the time you need to make it good as possible. |
