Hello all!

Thought I'd post a link to my latest creation and see what the masses think about it.

http://www.deltaperspective.com/music/Fuzzikitten%20-%20Omni%20Science.mp3

Lately I've been writing with the attitude of writing 'music' rather than 'psytrance', so it's kind of gone in an unexpected direction.

It's a little short (5:43), so I'm going to let it sit a bit and then add another lead or so.

Thanks for listening!

good intro mate... also i liked the hihat on the intro it fits well! the pumping bassline sounds very good!
also good use of sfx but i didnt liked the melody that entering in 0:45... (not my cup of tea) its sounds nice but dont fit much to psytrance.. with that melody its sounds more like a chilling trance.. nice arrangments keep up the good work! im waiting to hear more stuff from u!

Thanks Moty and Setfan.

I've been working a lot with trying to find a distinct groove, and while not everyone likes it at least they seem to say "it's different" - so I'm pleased for that.

I'm going to try extending the middle section, make it darker, and add some more weird sounds to the whole track.

Thanks again for the feedback!!

ok... u r right! let me rephrase what i wrote.
i really liked the electric sounds on the intro! the bassline is great! pumping in and out, great work with the bassline!!!
that weird sound sounds like barking synth good hihats... but maybe make it a little louder and add some reverb to it(u know the one u told me...)
the subbass in 1:10 fits really good! u made good breaks and used fx very intelegent! but i think that some sfx really need more bass to be felt more! u know some really vibrating bass to some fx...
the melody fits good to this slow track... very uplifting! it maks me smile when i hearing it now!
over all this is really good happy & uplifting track... different it is! and its reall nice to hear some diverse experimental music! well done man! keep up that great work! and hope to see u soon!

PEACE

p.s. sorry for the last review... i guess i really didnt pay attention to what was written cuz when u told me u posted it i just ran to review it without noticing what u wrote

*grin*

Thank you all for the feedback!

No need to apologize for feedback PsyGoatDelic - your reaction is your reaction, and I value it no matter if it's positive or negative.

I'm not sure if I'll go back and rework this track (eventually it becomes easier to just write something new) - but your comments help me think about what I will do differently next time, knowing what I did right and what I did wrong.

Thank you!!

Im not a big fan off the beat . IT sounds nice in the first minute, but then it gets a lil draggy for my tastes.
BUt!!!!!!!
I like the sfx in the 3 minute and around the end of the 5th too. I think they the same??

have fun!!

when i listen to it now it came across my mind... those variating hihats and those pumping basslines really reminds me the start of "palombini power - The Lost Perkulator"
keep this tune man!
