Sounds preety good
But to be honest, there is still a long way to the perfect "bassline solution".
I am talking strictly about the bassline, not the rest of the track.
I mean, u can get the same results with Vb1, good Eq, and Waves Maxxbass in just 5 minutes of work.
But keep working !!! Work, work, work, is the secret of everything, not softs or hardware or anything else!

I agree 100% Atma.

Why should >one< copied perfect solution help u in any way if u can't get >different< good results by tweaking urself. Therefore u must know what u do, and this is only possible by learning by working.

But i also respect this tutorial as a good starting point and i also think it is very nice to post it here, therefore thanks Azucryneo

Cmon, it's just a teste, if i change the wave form, and many other setting of this basic layout, anyone can do mostly any kind of bass with easiness
remembering, it's only a test that i put on yousendit, i must eq the bass, some muddyness when high volume, for example.

Don't take me wrong here Azucryneo but your thread is far from being modest...

Yes i heard before the Trilogy is a killer softie but there isn't perfect solution...i am shure that in a couple months you'll get to a point where u doing things diferently.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your opinion i will try it one day that i have the Trilogy in front of me....

I was a bit rude, as a test, well, the best advise is to have a solid knowledge in the basics because the bass will always be changed in everysingle track, because the bass sounds different as the other lines and frequencies are presented.

Every track is a different setup, thats the real secret.

Damn, for all those who criticized-me, i would like to teach you something:

1 - i was modest
2 - my tricks are valuable (high valuable, all the 11, and here go the 12 - if you wanna give fast impression on the bass, put the notes a little near to the kick / drag the bassline part a LITTLE to the left)
3 - the demo track, isn't a demo track, it's a bass test not totally eqed and i'm using semi-monitors, so the sound that i've got here isn't the same to all people.
4 - FOURTH AND LAST COMMENTARY, IT'S SO OBVIOUS THAT WHAT'S GOOD FOR ONE ISN'T GOOD FOR OTHER, SOMEONE LIKE SOME STYLE SOMEONE LIKE ANOTHER STYLE, THE QUESTION IS THE BASIC HIGH QUALITY FACILITY, THEN LET THE IMAGINATION START... SO FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOWS WHAT'S TRILOGY, PLEASE STAY QUIET AND MUTE.... I DON'T NEED THOSE COMMENTARIES.... TRILOGY IS THE BEST ONE BECAUSE, IT HAVE SAMPLED THE WAVEFORMS OF ALL THE REAL ANALOG BASS SOURCES OF THE PROS, SO WE CAN ENVELOPE AND FILTERS IT...

SO, EXCUSE-ME BUT -> THINK -> LATER POST

HAUEHAUEHUAHEUHAUEHUAHEUAHE

p.s.: i've talked pessoaly with udi (gobz from psysex), and maybe at monday we'll do a track together bla.bla.bla...

and i repeat i've used squaw waveform (square/saw) not too common... but like on psysex - survival kit... (including sub6 remix not hommega collection, that they used a hardware square/saw...

lololol.....choose "ohberheim sawtooth wave", the select the lp3 filter, inmaser filter put cutoff=0, resonance=0, env=100, then put the two "ADSR" (attack, decay, sustain and release) in 0...all of the parametters....put all in 0 and then try to do your own bassline controling the two "decays", amp decay and filter decay (envs)....just that, if you produce in logic, i advise to use a dj eq and then multipressor to get some killa sound, in cubase use quadrafuz in default, just put the high in 0 and give a little bit more to the other parameters, then use the vst_wave gold bundle and put the compressor c4....great kila bass, but i prefer tau....its not so heavy and i prefer eskimo bassline...
