hello
in the track Artifakt - Reborn theres a sound fading in at about 1:34, something pitched before the crash.
i heard the same thing in some other trax, some artifakts i think and some sirius isness

hmm - just listened to that, could be anything with a severe pitch bend. i get similiar results taking pads/atmospheric sounds with some fx, and then pitch bending them real fast. maybe add some reverse reverb. |

simply - its some pads etc with cutoff or some filter
try to "make fun" with some pad presets on some synth;)

Yes something pitchted up. Maybe a sample or a synth with eveloped pitch or automated pitch. Sounds fmish to me or/and a fast pitch lfo added.

Judging by the sound, I'm pretty sure it is a sample that is pitch bended up. Why? Because there is some kind of modulation on the sound that accelerates as the sound goes up in pitch. It could be that the LFO rate of the modulation was also modulated by the pitch bend wheel but it doesn't sound like that. The artifacts of the modulation speed up too.
Yeah, it's a pitch bended sample.

well a timestretched crash reverse is definitely not going to give you that, considering that more than half the people here already said that pitch bend has been used on it.
try something with a little more variation in the original sound (plain crash is not gonna do much for you). which is why i said, pad/atmos sound, with some fx, and then pitch bend it extremely.
and try the timestretch before or/and after aswell. |
