Go to Device manager and see if there is any trouble/conflict in any the CDRW section and also see if the insertion memory is checked for this CDRW,you should c something like the device is working properly |

i use winxp pro and all worx just fine 
u should try windows update and it should fix most of the shit
btw u can find all hardware problems on ms tech site
winxp is much better than older versions but its still have its own "surprises"
yeah and don't start the mac v.s. pc fight now!

winxp sp1 is due any day now...
it was ment to go out with win2k sp3 last month..
but nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo !
so any day now it will be out...
and then i will try xp again.
