i have some problem with windows xp

Its not a music related problem but I'll ask anyway.
Whenever I put a cd inside my CD-Rom or CD-RW I can't see the change in "My Computer" unless I restart the computer. It seems like the old cd is still in the drive and I already switched it with another one.

F5 doens't work, of course i tried that.

Probably WinXp doesnt's support the drive.
Go to Microsoft site and check for HCL
Hardware compatibilty list.

but its both with my cdrom and cdrw (and my cdrw is well known: Yamaha 16\10\40.)

Try enabling / disabling AutoPlay and also make sure you have the most updated drivers for those cd drivers.

Ha ha , i don't use windoze ,
the only "microsoftish" app in my computer is :
InternetExplorer 5.1 .
That's it .
And everything works just fine
