I am with Pavel on that one, maybe it is not arrogance, maybe it is that I have been listening to trance music for 24 years now, so one tends to get more choosy with time... I see a lot of sound out there that doesn't evoke any response for me, and then, every now and then, all of a sudden... there comes one Diamond, that feels so good to listen to, yes there is excellent sound out there, I guess I have just gotten a lot more choosy with time...           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

i like some tracks here and there but what surprise me is how short the life of a track is these days, i get bored just after few listen .
maybe i should listen a bit more psy/forest trance stuff could get my brain a bit more busy than full on and minimal techno

I thought it's happening only in psy, but I tend to get bored fast in nonpsy tracks too lately. I don't like it! Maybe it's because of too much music around, and not having the chance to choose and listen albums passionately.           http://soundcloud.com/morphous

dunno man maybe we get used with the years and our brain learn tracks faster... or cause of the minimal aproach in some musics these day, getting not much sound playing at same time to get a phat production we learn tracks in just few listens and get bored cause nothing suprise anymore.

Multilayered neo-Goa may be a good remedy for that then.

Since 2006?? Man, you're too young. There hasn't been any good psy since 2001.

Psychedelism died 10 years ago.

I can agree to a point that I havent heard anything released on CD that I thought was worth buying (and im poor) since 2006.

A few on my wish list since then-
Kindzadza-Waves from Inner Space
anything on Kamino
any new Penta/Auraquake releases
anything on Horns n Hoofs
Brisker and Magitman-Just Another Day
Lime Light 3

Im sure there are others i cant think of at the moment.

Ive been very pleased with the material on http://www.ektoplazm.com/ which everyone should dig through and find gems of their own, free and lossless (mostly). In particular;
Dohm-Swampology
VA-Under the Moss
VA-TOUCHSamadhi 001
Shapestatic-Metaphim
every single Digital Diamonds release
VA-Cycle of Secrets
VA-Supermarket
Dissociactive-Underwater Lab
Airi-Happy Kindness To You

Tons more on there, check it out youll probably find something you like.           .
