I hear like 5 to 10 cool tracks per year. Thanks to friends that update me with the stuff I might like.
Every time I have the uncontrollable urge to check a track or an artist that somebody here praises to the moon I usually get disappointed.

bullshit. plenty of good stuff out there its just you have to sift thru all the music being released and yes its a harder job... but still very rewarding

I still haven't sorted out 2010 and 2009. By the time I get to 2008, 2011 will be here. I am afraid there is simply no way to reach 2006 by the end of 2012. And we all know there is just no chance of getting to it later, right?
I guess I'll never hear any good psy trance...
P.S. Anyway, not to split hairs here, but the last time good music was written was 1984. Ah, Thomas Anders had such pretty lip gloss...

I am sure you are joking, but this is exactly what I've been thinking for the last 20 years. I mean, innovation is cool and “Nirvana” probably should have happened anyway. I just wish they'd stayed underground and never made it to the mainstream radio. “Nevermind” was interesting.
