Hi,
Well i have a little fight with someone about it hahahahahaha
he say that there is no way that's 1bpm=0.7pich on the cd player's hahahahahaahahaha
well my question is,
is there any mathematical formula that's improve's this wich i can show this guy why every DJ in this world use it???????

well, he's partially right... the mathematical formula is somewhere on this site, in one of the beatmtching threads.
He's partially right because that trick only works with music thats around 145BPM, if the music becomes faster then 180BPM (DnB and such) it's more like 0.6 instead of 0.7. When it's 100 BPM it's more like 0.8 instead of 0.7...
The 0.7 trick is a good place to start but isn't the end of it... If u beatmatch 2 songs with a big difference in BPM u'll notice that u can't get them at exactly the same speed using that trick... |

143BPM is to 1BPM
X = (100*1)/143 = 0.699...
do your maths and you'll see that 0.7 will be the most approximate value for about 135BPM to 150BPM...
125BPM guives exact 0.8 btw |
